The discussion of GSS's Budweiser-drinking in another thread leads me to wonder about this...am interested to know...
Mine are:
In VT: Long Trail DoubleBag
In ME: Shipyard Export
In CO: Fat Tire Amber Ale or Sunshine Wheat
In NY: Ithaca Double IPA or Apricot Wheat or Cascazilla or Partly Sunny
In Utah: Anything that isn't 3.2 beer***
Everywhere else: Guiness, or Sam Adams Light if I am having a bunch.
Also, for a drinking game: Miller Lite
*** I recently learned that 3.2 beer, whose alcohol content is limited by statute (in various states), usually refers to Alcohol by Weight (ABW), not the alcohol by volume (ABV) metric we normally think of. Thus 3.2 ABW beer is actually close to/over 4% ABV beer, which, if you are drinking something nasty like Bud Light or Miller Lite, is prob not that far from the normal ABV (mid to low 4s)
