Some have mentioned LT's double bag, but that can be a bit much sometimes.
A bit much delicious, legit-alcohol content beer-heaven maybe.

In all seriousness, does anyone else share my opinion that 1) Beers with high ABV %s often taste better to me, I think because they have to be more carefully crafted in order to continue to taste like beer rather than something more potent/less drinkable? DoubleBag, Ithaca Double IPA, Aventinus, Delirium, Elephant beer, Omegang (and basically most belgian or belgian styles) are my evidence...

then i start sippin on a knob creek
Bourbon is my other love. Bourbon with a beer back plus a single Advil = best cure for after-ski aches.

Mmm ... Wachusett brews an excellent nut brown ale.
Their winter brew this year was very yummy too.

48 ounces of coors light after a day of skiing with no drinking hidrates me as well as putting me in a happy mood.

I agree, Geary's HSA is another. The Dogfish Head is good till you get to the 120 minute, then it starts tasting gross IMHO.

For NH: Woodstock's Pig's Ear, I wish they sold it at the upper pub at Wildcat, currently it is only sold at the small bar on the main floor.

For VT: Switchback

I like to sample the local beers especially if it's got some connection with the ski area (Tuckerman Headwall Alt or Pale Ale, Magic Hat Single Chair, Long Trail Tram Ale, etc.). I'm a total tourist and unapologetic about it. If I'm not in the mood for a beer, I'll have a Bloody Mary -- spicy with lots of Tabasco. Wakes me up and I get my daily requirement of fruits and vegetables.

Depends on where I am. Normally in ME:
Gritty's Pub Style
Carrabassett Pale Ale
Brown Bag Ale
Geary's HSA or Winter
Shipyard Prelude or Chamberlain
420 or 840 IPA

This past week in WA:
Manny's Pale Ale
Pyramid Snow Cap
Elysian IPA & Winter Ale

Gatorade G2 for me. Enough taste so that it isn't water, but still not sugary. After a day of skiing I'm too damn dehydrated for beer for a while.

I've been in a wheat beer rut for several years.

When I walk in the Long Trail Brewery right before they call last call at 6:00 on Friday afternoons, they pour me a Hefeweizen without asking.

I buy Franziskaner Hefeweizen by the case at my local beverage discounter in Portsmouth. That's what I drink as my BYO on the mountain.

At the bar, I usually drink whatever microbrew they have on tap. I usually get wheat beers. If they don't have microbrew, I'll often get a Blue Moon.
