I think Mt. Snow is blowing tonight. Here's what their snow report says:

Good news. We’re stockpiling snow at the summit right now in preparation of a top to bottom run AND a terrain park on opening day. Personally, I think early season downloading should consist of putting new music on a riding playlist, not sitting on a chairlift to get back to the base. That’s just me, though.

We’re planning on reopening Launch Pad to the public once again tomorrow, weather permitting. Same goes for this weekend, and we might open the Discovery lift. Hooray! Oh, and don’t toss your costume after Halloween… it might come in handy this Saturday. More details on that tomorrow…

I'm not sure what to make of the costume coming in handy on Saturday thing...maybe a satuday opening with a costume party??? Or maybe just a costume themed jib session on Launch Pad.

With MamaSpice gone we don't seem to get as much quick, clear communication as we did last year.

Greg, maybe you could convince Luke Stafford to step up and be Mt. Snow's AZ liason??

I wish they'd fix their summit cam so we could see. It hasn't changed at all in the past couple days I've been watching.

Summit cam should be fixed soon.

Right now atleast you can see 1/2 dozen fan guns all lit up on the base area cam - mini park on Launch Pad will be open again tommorrow

Base area cam looks like it's been rotated very recently, and if it's showing what i think it is, you're seeing some blow over snow from them working on Standard now.

I can't see anything on the base came. But then again, it's all white...so I was just thinking a lot of snow was flying around. :snow:

The summit cam does make me chuckle. I'm sure they'll bring it back online soon. :flag:

I like that frozen summit cam shot. I can see my place towards the upper right corner on a beautiful spring day  Although I like the view of my place when it's a winter wonderland scene even better! :) :snow:

I'm hoping it's white because it's covered with a thick layer of manmade snow from running the fan guns down standard to the Canyon Express Lift Loading Area all night long:snow:

Here's what the cam picture looks like:

And here is the newly installed Fan Gun that's about 30 feet from the Canyon Express Base Cam (which is installed at the top of the trailmap/sign board at the base).

I agree that the cam either has a layer of snow coating the lens . . . or they just buried it with snow!

If you could just convince the 15 or so folks that are expecting to see me between now and 5PM today, I'd gladly make the 140 odd mile squeege run! :)
