heard some good things about them. do you have the split version? is it built by mervins?

I have every board Jones has put out. The splits are awesome. I love the hovercraft split. Nidecker makes them for Jones. I have every board from Burton, Jones, Lib Tech from the past six years or so. I know Jones is only two years out but I'm telling you their stuff is the best. I put my T6's, Methods, Vapors all away. The magna traction is unreal. Camrock kills it. I have three sons who all ride also. I wont get into how I get all these boards but you need to at least try them. Never Summer is a great company. One of my son's CVA classmates just signed onto the team. No small little here are some t shirts stuff. The real full on welcome to the team sponsorship. Rome is great also. Jones went to CVA. Heres another option thats great...goto http://www.teameight.com/ and make what you want. Call Greg personally and talk to him and tell him exactly what it is you want. He is the man. Team8 makes all of Seth's boards (Seth Wescott) that he uses when he isnt winning gold medals. I had a few Team8 boards made for my older boys and they are unreal also. If I can help in anyway let me know. Greg is my Sugarloaf neighbor. Great guy who cares a ton.

Yeah riding a rockered board totally makes you a pussy. How do you figure? That's such a ridiculous statement. Your so hardcore. Those 2 boards you ride are both directional boards meant for charging the mtn, which is perfectly fine if that is what you like to do.

But don't just write off a rocker. I guess all those pros who ride rockered boards must be pussies too?

Rocker offers a different feel underfoot and shouldn't just be written off, especially if you have never tried it. Have you ever ridden a rockered board, flatline or a hybrid camber/rocker?

So tough you are, so core.

Ive riden with Travis Rice and his buds. They dont ride rockered boards, just market them. They sell well Ill give you that.

Ive tried every form of rocker there is. It makes it easier to learn, but also teaches bad habits.

The only board he rides with Rocker is his Banana Hammock. The other ones have the same graphics but different shape. Ive ridden with him and talked to him about it, after he pulled my retarded ass out of snowbank on the pass.

TRice has publicly said he rides regular cambered boards. He says he enjoys riding bananas and C2 because they are fun, but when it is all on the line he rides cambered decks.

No name droppin' here. :flame:

I have a neglected Burton Frontier. Incognito demo board from when they first came out. 0 days on it this year. 2 days on it last year. Maybe a total of 25 days on it in the last 10 years. Couple of years of abuse prior.

I remember back in the day my buddies and I used to group 'snoboard' a toboggan as a kid sledding. Really surprising how well it worked out.

More so than those snow skates, I cant help but eat shit on those doing anything that resembles a turn or a trick.

I have every board in the world.

Can I try some of them next i'm up in maine? :) I'm looking for a decent board to saw in half too!

I have a lib-tech t-rice 161.5, its a lot of fun... I can't say I really did all my homework and demo'd that many boards before picking it, it kinda picked me.... prior to that I had a GNU with Magnetraction/Rocker... prior to that I had a K2 Nemesis bomber...

marketing hype is typically marketing hype, but if your ride a board and have fun on it -- thats all that really matters. If you get a chance to demo/try friends out, thats great...

After riding his flagship I was kinda let down to be honest. Fun board, but way to specialized. At least with other freeride boards you arent fully commited to going balls out at all times. I was riding I believe a 167 however, so that might have had something to do with it. I just find them to be kinda involving for a resort type atmosphere. Backcountry they are pretty sweet. He likes tip rocker as well, which I find annoying, but thats just me.

He has the rights to use magnetraction, which is cool if thats your thing. I know I could traverse really well with it, but Im not buying a board for traversing.

Nidecker make bomber products though, so I would assume his boards are pretty durable. Major plus IMO.
