Okay... It's a holiday, it is going to be packed at most places... and the conditions are going to be well... we'll see...

Do I stick with my original plan and hit Cannon, since it looks like it will be all snow for this weather event? Or do I go elsewhere? Can't go Saturday or sunday with family in town :(

How far are you looking to drive? If smaller hills don't bother you and you want easy access, I'd give Whaleback a shot.

Sunday River has had consistently good snow, and they continue to make it. They have many naturals open too, and if they get some snow Friday they could be in pretty good shape. Crowds can always be avoided even on the busiest of days. That said, it is quite a drive for you and an $80 ticket isn't cheap.

Good temps + a little more snow this weekend, flurries ALL weekend up in Carrabassett Valley(Sugarloaf & Saddleback).....Cannon sounds good for NH.

Its going to be interesting as to just how crowded it going to be. Snow would obviously give it a shot in the arm, but it seems to me alot of people have given up. I made reservations just this week for Vermont next week and was surprised that I was able to get my 1st choice of hotel at a reduced price.
