...charlie, having skied with you... i think you have such a great attitude about skiing and in general that i doubt you'd leave hardly any mountain disappointed! ;)
After skiing a day with you I'm left completely exhausted...

I went there 2 Thursdays ago(the week before school vacation). There were alot of people and I was waiting in lines! I didn't think there was anything great there I can't understand why so many people ski there. Go up the road to Cannon and nothing. What are they doing differently?

It just like saying why do people ski attitash, waterville, ascunty, sunapee, sunday river, stratton and okemo. Some people like that kinda skiing some don't. It makes me happy because all the mountains I like aren't crowded.

The one and olny time I have been @ Loon and skied there so far was two years ago becasue I won free tickets there from racing @ Black Mt of NH in the Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge Race. Same goes for this year; April 1st see you there.

They market to a wider set of skills and tastes. When it's got good snow, you can spend your day on the upper left-hand corner (looking from the bottom). I guess people like the lodges, etc.

I'd rather keep rolling up 93 to the next place. It does offer, however, less wimpy runs. It's almost the opposite of Loon in its ratio of challenging runs to easy ones.

Also duct tape looks better at Cannon than Loon as do Carhart coveralls.
