Seems like the Cat is a bit of an outlier on this forum but figured why not expand things a little northward...

From Thursday Nov. 30 - just the cliche'd summit shot but think it and the little rockpile across the road gives you the idea. Mountain completely covered in maybe 8-10 inches of natural and with the manmade looks like a killer base for so early. Was coldest November in maybe 30 years up there and had a midwinter look under comfy mostly sunny high-30s conditions.

Only T2B was Upper Catapult/Middle Wildcat/Bobcat but a lot of other trails look ready to open. Some decent softening with the sun and highly rippable with very few skiers - maybe 40 cars in the lot. Has been my primary hill in recent years after my shred buddy bought a cabin up there and no matter how many times I ski it I'm still amazed at how long the runs are - you can't help but get a bellyful of vertical every time.

Here's to seeing reports from others who make the trek to the high country.

Game on!

I'll be in the area all this week. Seen it from across the road and been to the top. Never skied it. Might be my chance.

I’m at Wildcat right now. Skiing nice. Soft snow. They opened upper polecat today too.
Nice! Was raining when I left the MWV yesterday afternoon and was wondering what was happening on the hill. Look like any new snow overnight? Crowded?

Crowds are light. Ski on the whole time. Pretty poor visibility on much of the mountain is the only trouble today. I don’t think they got any accumulating snow last night but I don’t think they lost a ton of base either. Looks like there will be a good base to start on whichever trail they make snow on next.

Mountain reported 10" at base and more up high today from overnight - my buddy who lives up there hit it at like 10 this morning for a few hours. Said it was all ungroomed, medium-deep and density. They opened Upper Polecat to Upper Lynx looker's left off the summit to go along with Upper Catapult to Middle Wildcat/Bobcat on right.

Much gloppier down low - he was driving back to his place along Swift River/Kanc Highway in Conway after and got stopped by a downed tree on only way in. Said it looked like every tree in the area was ready to snap.

Got up here last evening. Came through the Crawford Notch just as the road was getting bad. Planning on 2 of the next 4 days depending. Then sadly back to home.

Yes, driving to BW yesterday through Crawford Notch trees were bending from the weight of snow everywhere. Some had clearly broken over the road and been removed before I got there. I was mildly surprised BW didn’t lose power. Great to see all that snow, though, we’ve got none on the seacoast.

Good on ya zyk - shred-envious but still would be great to see a report and/or a couple pics from your trip.

Place is skiing pretty good. I skied a bunch of cool stuff this morning. Upper lynx(fun), upper wildcat( fun but bottom was tiring) and the rest of the top. Snow is set up but not concrete. After I smoke my lunch I'm gonna lap the groomers which are skiing excellent as well.

It looks like they have all the lifts spinning except for snowcat which is weird. I assume there's an issue there but having bobcat and tomcat going makes no sense. It's not busy at all.

Dang that looks smothered and covered with goodness. Lynx is hands down my favorite trail on the mountain.
