Seems like the Cat is a bit of an outlier on this forum but figured why not expand things a little northward...
From Thursday Nov. 30 - just the cliche'd summit shot but think it and the little rockpile across the road gives you the idea. Mountain completely covered in maybe 8-10 inches of natural and with the manmade looks like a killer base for so early. Was coldest November in maybe 30 years up there and had a midwinter look under comfy mostly sunny high-30s conditions.
Only T2B was Upper Catapult/Middle Wildcat/Bobcat but a lot of other trails look ready to open. Some decent softening with the sun and highly rippable with very few skiers - maybe 40 cars in the lot. Has been my primary hill in recent years after my shred buddy bought a cabin up there and no matter how many times I ski it I'm still amazed at how long the runs are - you can't help but get a bellyful of vertical every time.
Here's to seeing reports from others who make the trek to the high country.
Game on!
