PINKHAM NOTCH, NH — Along with the long list of ski characters coming to Wildcat Mountain on opening day, Saturday, December 4th, was extreme skiing pioneer Dan Egan.
Egan donned telemark skis for the first time in eight years, and received tips from Michael Scontsas of Eastern Mountain Sports in North Conway, and Jeremiah Beach, new Manager of Wildcat’s Rental, Repair, and Tuning Shop. Egan was shooting a segment for his new television show "Must Ski TV" a weekly two hour show recently launched on WNDS Television, based in Derry, NH, and covering southern New Hampshire and the Greater Boston area (channel 50 and on cable 18). The program airs every Thursday from 8-10 pm, and includes ski and snow-related news, events and conditions, tips on gear, technique, and fitness, resort reviews, mountain documentaries with footage from around the world, and more.
