Resort or Ski Area: Windham Mountain

Conditions: Packed Powder/Granular/Eastern Hardpack

Trip Report: Windham was in great shape today given the recent warmness and NCP. They did a great job with the grooming overnight. Snow was hard packed granular and adequate coverage. I found some icy spots, but for the most part, they were avoidable. Crowds today were not too bad. I went by my self so I could just slip into the single line and zip right back up. Sun was in and out all day and the wind wasn't too bad. Around 3pm it started to snow pretty hard. Nice way to end the day off. Best trails (IMHO) were Why Not and What Should we Call it? What a fun day!

I was there too! skied from 10-4pm.

overall, good coverage and damage was not too bad from the previous days warmup. conditions were typical eastern hardpack after a thaw/freeze cycle.

Best conditions were in my opinion on Wonderama at the end of the day. the sun was hitting it in between snow showers and the snow was not too skied off. Why not and Upper Wolverine had pretty good conditions as well. good thing was that the weather was in the comfortable mid 30;s all day.

funniest moment of the day, was on Wedel. 4 pint sized girls were trying negotiate the icy bumps and 1 of the 4 wasn;t as strong as the other 3 so the lead girl was pleading for her comrade to slip slide down.
