My dad brought over a copy of Windham Magazine cause he wanted to show me an article in it about his good friend Karl Plattner.
In the article it mentions how he received an honor from the Austrian Ski Racing Fed. In 2005, his years on the Austrian ski team, worked at Mt. Tremblant, then Mt. Snow, then came to “Mountaintop” and worked at various ski related endeavors, brought Pro Racing to the “Catskills, and has been Windam’s Ski Ambassador since 1996.
You Skills boys notice anything missing? Not even one mention that he was Hunter’s Ski School Director for 30+ years. That’s like writing an article about Babe Ruth and never mentioning he played for the Yankees, unfreakin real. No love lost there I guess.
KP is a good guy and I’m glad he’s happy at Windham.
