Hoping for another 30+ day season, which can be tough living in CT. (I don't count CT resorts. had 35 days last 2 seasons)

Sugarbush (never been)
Saddleback (never been)
Sugarloaf (didn't make it last year and Bracket Basin is calling me)
Sunday River
Jay Peak
Stowe
Smuggs
Mt. Snow (sort of my "home" mountain, so I'm sure I'll have several days here)

In the process of planning a trip out west. It's looking like either CO or the Tahoe area. Pushing for Tahoe since I had so much fun last year. I'd like to hit Heavenly, Squaw, Kirkwood, Northstar, and maybe Mt. Rose.

I'm also looking to get some SC/BC in. Hopefully Greylock, Stowe/Smuggs, Tuckerman, and whatever else looks fun and feasible.

Here's to a BIG winter!!

2011 - 2012 Season

2011-2012 Goal: Better than the 55 days last season across the following locations.

1. Seven Springs. Home training grounds.

2. Trip 1: Ragged, Gunstock, Attitash & Sunday River for the first time. Cannon again.

3. Trip 2: Teluride for the first time.

4. Trip 3: Stowe, Jay & Burke again.

5. Trip 4: Holimont & Holiday Valley again.

Maybe Jackson Hole if the snow comes early there like last season.

 Man I better get waxin'!

Ski 120 days at heavenly and kirkwood.

Take a couple road trips to Utah.

Drop 30 pounds.

Jump off some stuff.

Where's your new place? I assume you'll be in South Lake. My condo is near the base of Stagecoach and I'll be there the last week of Jan and first week of Feb. Let's track out some turns, brother. Maybe hit a halfpipe or two! :-D

Oh, my 5 to do list...

1. Ski the new area of Brackett Basin.

2. Get up to Stowe and Jay.

3. Get more use out of my skins.

4. Have Snoseek show me the ropes at Kirkwood.

5. Enjoy Squaw after a classic Sierra Storm cycle.

^^^^^^ That's right, you come out every year. You probably know tons of good stuff at heavenly-nice! I don't know too much about Kirkwood other than If I'm gonna be in south lake I will want to have that pass too. I'll be living over near the community college if you know where that is, not too far from the gunbarrel side. When do you go out again?

I do know Heavenly like the back of my hand and laugh at all the traverse complaints. The place may attrack the Texans and can be packed on weekends (Mostly just Saturdays) but the unnamed terrain and side country are insane. Killebrew is downright scary.

I'll be solo the first week of February and we'll catch up for sure. I know exactly where the CC is. Good central location for getting to Kirk, AM, and Squaw, but obviously super close to the bars. :fangun:

Sugarloaf this year. I've wanted to do it for a while. This is the year.

Fell in love with Magic last year, definitely going back a few times this year.

Other than that seasons pass at K and the usual suspects MRG, Jay, the Bush.

In my mind, northern New England
Book a cheap flight on Southwest now. Direct flights from Boston to Reno = Party on snow! :snow:

I'll be your chaffuer to and from Reno. When I meet my roomates I can tell you for sure if couch surfing is ok or not. I'm betting it's ok.

Let's make this happen! I'll bring a sleeping bag and crash in the tub if I have to. This may be the year I get it all together and ski the west! Fingers crossed, brothers!

Or I could be your chaffuer. I'll be back and forth to Reno as it is. Once in South Lake, no car needed. Shuttles go everywhere.

Just book a flight. I know Kirkwood discounts are possible. I bet my Heave pass allows a couple discount tix. You don't need a car and the housing will work itself out I'm sure. Beer is free if you pretend to gamble:cool:

Any idea how much the shuttle down to Kirkwood cost? I'm looking to ride it frequently but only if its about the same cost as driving.

Kirkwood's shuttle is $15 per round trip, which is especially great if it's snowing. $10 with a season's pass.

Go Blue (The South Lake area shuttle) may also run one.
