First time ever at Windham. (Have skied Hunter and Belleyare several times). Noticed the special on Windham's website, that if you have a seasons pass at any other ski area, a full day lift ticket, late season, was only $25.
Sunday 4/4 was Windhams last day of the season and the skiing was great. They were open 8:00 am to 4, and I got out on the mountain at 9:00 am. Despite the warm temps. the base was still firm untill about 11:15 when it softened up quite a bit. It only got moderatley slushy and only a little sticky. Just a little drag on the skis, here and there. Temps were in the mid 70's to high 70's. Might have reaches low 80's at some point.
Only 1 trail was groomed, a green dot long trail "Wanderer" from the top of the 2nd peak. Although the other trails had not been groomed in a couple of days, because of the warm temps. overnite, the trails were kind of flat with only medium bumps here and there.
I really like Windham and their trails. 2 High speed quads are Great!
