Nowhere now, but everywhere
Silver star is a cool place. Fun terrain. Nothing too hairy, but fun. Very cool base/village situation with the colorful Victorians. It snowed about an inch while I skied and everything skied chalky and workable. Kinda eastern conditions but very fun.

It’s dumping in revelstoke at the valley floor at least 2” down already and already 5 cm reported up the resort

Solid one day sightseeing of silver star -

Don’t know if it’s on your route but I think Kimberly is worth checking out. Had a good day there, reasonably steep and plenty of trees.

Very very out of my way and not on my pass. But I’ve been there once years ago. I liked it. Fernie is my favorite down there

I should add column of days missed. Got at least 4 due to weather and cold. Missed Sunday due to the pending Blizzard hitting NJ. My wife and ski partner was nervous about the drive so we left Brattleboro at 7 am and got home at 10:30 am before it hit. Missed the hockey game but saw Jacks goal on replay

Drove through a blizzard to get to Gunstock but it crapped out 10 miles before I got here. Storm moved in around 10:00 and the wind is dramatically resetting the table. Impressed the lifts are running at this point.

Fantastic. Full on.

Leaning towards stopping there on our way home from Quebec on Thursday.
I hadn't been to Burke since '97, finally got back there last week. Compared to Jay, crowds were non-existent... was still skiing corduroy on Willoughby until 11a! Dixieland and Lower Powerline were very fun; can imagine they'd be even more fun in fresh snow. Will definitely be back.

19. 2/26 Saddleback. First time up here, man is this a sweet area. Casablanca glades are fantastic and plenty of untracked lines still available today. All of their upper mountain trails that weren't wind scoured out were skiing great. Obviously with their exposure, wind scouring is the one drawback here with the typical WNW winter winds. Solid area and nice to get away from SR and not really worry about edges/bases in the woods. Will definitely be back
