That's not actually true. They have pretty much as many seatings as they need in the night. They start taking names at 4:30, but you should probably get there around 4 to get in line to put your name in. It gets pretty crazy in there.

Ironically, Robin's Run was originally an illegal cut. I do agree with that one though. I would also add Liftline at Smuggs to the list. Pretty much all of MRG. Bush: Castlerock, Paradise, Mall, Hammerhead, Tumbler

I'd drive the extra half hour to the Bush. They will be 100% open (already are at South). They obviously have challenging terrain, as we've discussed over and over again on this board. Northern VT pretty much always has the best snow in New England and has the best terrain hands down.

I don't have the money to pull it off right now or I'd be all over that...

I'm going up to the Northeast Kingdom this weekend (staying near Burke). I was originally supposed to go biking at Kingdom Trails, but that fell through so I will now be hiking. What are some good hikes in the area? I am preferably looking for rather long day hikes.

I doubt that Schilling will steal A-Rod's lipstick to put on his sock. I do agree that at this point, Schill matches up better with Carmona than Dice-K. Plus, Dice-K has pitched better on the road than at Fenway so far this season.

I have to say I'm a bit nervous about the Indians. The Sox have been playing great ball lately, though, so it should be a good series. I don't have a good feeling about the Dice-K vs. Carmona starts at all...

Torre hasn't won anything in a while. I think it's time for a change in NY. It's funny how all the Yankee fans suddenly disappear when the Yankees start losing (or in this case are done for the year). MudPuddle seemed so cocky a week ago and now he's nowhere to be found.

The snow was so deep and thick at Smuggs that day that you had to follow someone else's tracks. If you tried to break trail, you would just end up pushing through the snow and practically walking downhill.

A new lease on life? Last time I checked they finished with the best record in baseball. There are ups and downs in every season - no one expected that the Sox would play .700 baseball all season. And no one expected that the Yankees would suck all season long.
