Probably not much different looking than the door to the bathroom at my house after the kids have just eaten some chocolate pudding :lol:

That's not pudding Jeff...."Mother nature took a huge dump last night....."

I just paid $1200 to have that job done. It however also included rear brakes, new window regulator and a new thermostat.
Good time to get the thermostat done.

Mine was expensive, but the car has an interference engine with a timing belt...first sign of failure would have been a trashed engine. Good thing was that the old belt was worn but not desperate.

Found what was left of the pad once I pulled the caliper and the rotor:

Best I can tell, the sliders had bound up and caused the pad to drag. I needed to use pliers to pull the sliders from the caliper. On the driver's side, I was able to pull the sliders out by hand.

O look! There's a wedding band in my rotor!
