Any Pennsylvania skiers out there? This looks like a really well done site:

Welcome AtomicSkier. Maybe we can work together to get some PA mountains on board to participate in the AlpineZone Ski Area Challenge...AtomicSkier said:I'm an admin at PASkiandride.com, and I thank you for your comments. Your site is a great site too, btw.
We may not have the big mountains, but we definatly have big enthusiasm. Only 11,492,962 seconds until winter!

It certainly lacks Vertical, but I digged skiing and hanging out there. Great Apres ski scene.
IMHO - Seven Springs is the best ski resort experience in the mid-Atlantic region.
Reminiscent of our ski area challenge which has resulted in some ski area reps posting here. Really nice site.PaSkiandRide.com said:Do you work for a Pennsylvania mountain? 6/22/05 10:15 PM
We are actively seeking Mountain Representives to post information regarding news/opening days/events. Ideally, the representative would be active, and participate periodically in thier respective forum. Please contact us here for more information.
Good for you guys. Most of us are a bunch of old farts (80% of AZ visitors are over 30), but 4% of us live and ski in PA. Check the demographics thread for more info. That's great about the "PASR Days". We had a few gatherings last season and I'm sure that we'll have a bunch more this season. See the T&E board. Feel free to jump right in if you guys head up to the NE.AtomicSkier said:While the Poconos is certainly no Vermont, and of crouse no Utah, we make due with what we have. My home mountain (Blue Mtn) has almost 1,100 feet in vertical, though most mountains in PA are under 1k. It does get crowded, but hey, we're not talking about huge acreage here.
Thanks for the warm welcome, and Papasteeze is our PR guy :argue: We still have more skier members then snowboarders, and alot of the skiers are new school, but we do have some racers, including myself that are still old school. It's definatly a nice balance.
We have "PASR days" at each mountain where Me, Thinksnow (another admin), Dthmtluncrn meet up with the members at their home mountain to get a feel for the rest of what PA has to offer. It's really fun, we usually get some video, and have a blast.
welcome.Mark DiGiovanni said:hey our best gathering was the only one i made it too last year! well its good to be on another mb maybe i can get even more inside info now. hehehehe
