Belleayre Mountain, November 24, 2007:

Introduction: Got up right at 9, thought some more trails would be open like their website said... but it was just Onteora from top to bottom and the rail park late in the day.

Weapon of Choice: Endeavor Colour 156

Conditions: OK early on, landings to some jumps got so icy and so did the rest of the trail towards the end of the day. Some moguls on the left side of the top of Onteora. Cut into the woods with some friends, only to have some skiier tell the ski patrol we were in there and have him yell at us, threatened to clip our tickets all that shit. But we talked our way out of it, rest of the day was good. The woods had some nice little turns and a nice drop with a big landing but not that much coverage. The base of my board is somehow not screwed beyond belief. Snowmaking like crazy on Wanatuska and some lower trails and maybe Mohawk I think. Good looks to Bell for trying, conditions weren't that great tody. Rail park was sick, when it opened, rail jam up there tonight.

Weather: Cold, 20s, clear.

Lifts: No lines really.

Notes: Website says 7 trails for tomorrow (which means like 3 real runs when you take out Ridge Run and the Beginner trail and Onteora is in two trail names on their website... upper and lower). So many people up there though, all one one trail it was pretty crowded.

Rating: 5/10

Conclusion: Tired as hell.
