This is true. At Stowe I'll take the double when the Quad is jammed. I'd rather be on a slow moving chair than standing around

That's how I play it. I hate standing in line, especially when there is a lift within site that has no line. The lifties have told me it's about the same length of time, and you miss a litlte elevation and access to some of the slopes.
