Killington. Top of skye peak quad. Woods are less sketchy here than yesterday at Ellen. Sketchy but to my standards of skiable. Nowhere somewhere low rider all good enough to be fun. Rock skis for sure tho.

Also kinda empty. I started at 8 and have 13k vert already and every run has been ski on except the six pack at 945. I switched to the triple which is ski on. Refuse to ride the gondolas. Not needed. Canyon quad and skye peak and superstar quads get me high enough

Yup. A few more. Inverted all day. First chair sunrise to a sunset with a different kind of mountain range. Skied hard to 1230 and made great time. Just got home.

No inversion at Sunday River this weekend but the higher Mahoosucs were stuck in cap clouds all weekend. Don't think I've ever seen cap clouds that persistent on the Mahoosucs before.

Man, I read the vail threads and the ikon threads and I am so happy I'm skiing Killington this year, it's just been so smooth compared to what I read about.

Just because you're above the cloud deck doesn't mean there is an inversion.
Are you defining an inversion as warmer up top than down below? If so, felt that way at Sugarbush on Sunday. Obviously not a scientific observation on my part though. Lol.
