I know this belongs at the lost ski area website but Friday's WSJ had an advertisement for approximately 700 acres of land on either side of rt. 9 that included the former ski area for a cool $2.1 mm. The description of the opportunity was targetted for the real estate developer.

I will continue to scan the papers for current and former ski areas for sale!

Yeah, I recall seeing that both this and Maple Valley are for sale. Hogback is near Bennington, right?

Ah, yes, OK. I recall seeing it on NELSAP. Sounds like the owner is trying to cash in while the market is hot. Hasn't been run for a while, right?
