Louis Garneau Oslo Airzone Men's Bib Tights
Pulling a portion of its name from Garneau's tried-and-proven chamois, the new Oslo Airzone Bib Tights were developed to provide all-day comfort in the saddle when the weather begins to cool down. Besides the Airzone insert, several of Garneau's other proven materials were chosen to make these supportive, comfortable, and highly versatile new bib tights.
Garneau constructed the Oslo Airzone bib tights out of its HeatMaxx fabric, which is a Roubaix-type material with a smooth outer-surface and a brushed micro-fleece lining. This stretchy fabric strikes a fine balance between keeping you warm without restricting movement or feeling bulky. The tights feature eight panels in total, stitched together with friction-minimizing flatlock seams. The material's composition works to keep your legs warm, while at the same time, ensuring that you stay dry through its exceptional wicking capabilities. Finishing off the bibs' uppers, Garneau incorporated its lightweight mesh, which provides exceptional breathability and chafe-free comfort.
Garneau included its AirZone insert into the Oslo bib tights. This chamois uses a 3D, pre-shaped wing design that moves in unison with your body. After all, a non-conforming insert is one of the leading causes of abrasion. So, to guarantee flexibility, the AirZone chamois uses a variable-density, perforated memory foam that's been shaped objectively towards every direction of movement and pressure. And unlike other forms of variable-density padding, the AirZone shape ensures that height transitions flow smoothly from region to region. This means that pinching and chafing are nearly eliminated. Garneau also included a center channel, much like your favorite saddles, that relieves pressure on the urethra and pudendal nerve.
Rounding out the bib tights, Garneau included seven-inch ankle zips for easy removal, and a generous amount of reflective piping was added to the paneling to keep you seen by motorists in low-light riding conditions.
