Other ski forums?

Any of you frequent or know of other ski forums? I know of this one http://www.ski.com/forum/

That first one looks dead and the second one uses wack discussion software.

For NE (Northeast of course) ski talk, there's none better than the one you're at. For more technical and historial talk, the NELSAP board is the spot. So it kinda depends what you're looking for.

Thanks for the kind words, Joshua B! Other than the NELSAP board, which is hosted by SnowJournal (a national site), I have yet to find any strictly Northeast regional ski forums other than AlpineZone. Most other forums are either national (Epic, FirstTracksOnline, PowderMag , etc.) or resort specific, e.g. KillingtonChat, RSN boards.

This season the skiing forums here have really taken off. The hiking boards have always had limited activity in the warmer months, and I'm hoping some of the skiing forum activity carries over to the hiking boards this spring. It would be great to see some NE skiers who don't normally hike or backpack, get into it because of this site! I know MichaelJ (a hiking forum regular) tried alpine skiing this season. Not sure how much we had to do with it, but chatting with folks that are passionate about both is fun. riverc0il is another big winter skier/summer hiker member.
