Some pictures of a big oak tree near my house that was struck by lightning last Thursday. The bark was literally blown off the tree.....

If it hasn't happened already, I'm thinking someone should dispatch Marc and his lumberjack gear to take care of that tree ;)

Glad it didn't tumble on that house across the street. That would be a shame. Old house has a ton of character.

They took it down today. Sad to lose another nice big old tree in the hood but it really needed to go!
