Planning a return to Banff at the end of January/ early February for 10+ days. We plan to hit Lake Louise, KH, and Revelstoke. Also planning to enjoy Banff Snow Days while in the area and check out the Skijoring event downtown. Was a fun time on our previous visit.

Hope to spend most of the winter in Utah again for the 7th year in a row. Also likely to ski several resorts in CO for a few days during Jan and Mar. Might drive up to Schweitzer in Feb. Would be the first time up there and could possibly ski a mtn or two on the way from UT. Slight chance I'd go up to Red Mtn, BC as part of the Schweitzer trip, that would be another first for me.

Since I moved to the dark side I may try to finally ski Attitash for the first time this winter. Also will hopefully be able to do a Vail trip as I'm dangerously curious about what it's like there.

Will probably do Jackson Hole Golden Ticket promo for a couple days. I want to check out Telluride as a mid-season trip. I did not get a pass this season so I can have flexibility and hit where the snow flies.

Thought you needed a season pass some where in order to take advantage of the Jackson Hole Golden Ticket?

It's Zermatt this year with a bunch of us from Sugarbush. 8 days plus some time in Zurich. Real fun itinerary this time with a great place next to the lift and a Moonlight ski planned. Early February.

In theory you do. However, they did not check anything last year when we used that deal. Also of note, Indy counted as a pass last year.

Sugarbush between Christmas and New Years. Rented a place in the Bridges.

Winter Park, CO Jan. 5 -11. I'm trip leader with 33 from our ski club going.

Jackson Hole 2nd week of Feb. Have reservations at Cowboy Village.

Copper and a few other Summit County hills, hopefully will make some turns with ski with Jim K there from that other ski forum, in Early March.

All Ikon though I may venture off pass for a day or so in VT at some point. Either Stowe or Jay...haven't been to either in at least 4 seasons.

Canadian Rockies / BC trip over school feb break. The Canadian peso is great.

LL, Rev,KH,SSV. Was thinking about a Heli day but will probably do another future trip based around Cat/Heli/touring.

Got the synnott avy 1 course booked for Jan.

Nothing booked yet, but probably do a 3-4 day early/mid december trip to the Bird if 1. our east coast early season sucks (high probability), 2. UT is getting dumped on.

Otherwise, hanging out in southern/mid VT trying to maximize magic and ikon passes.

We'll fly to Seattle again either do a Canada or Montana and back. Would like to get up to Vancouver Island, but the Port Angeles ferry might still be in drydock. Schedule should be announced soon.

For my no-kids trip I plan to drive to Cape Smokey and hit a bunch of stuff on the way there and back. Never been to the Maritimes, so very much looking forward to that one.

For Spring Break, we'll get a condo at Breckenridge for a week. The break is very late this year, so options are more limited. Kids have never done Colorado Epics and my wife has a pass this year, so makes sense. Hopefully get to Keystone and Beaver Creek before they shut down too.

Can't wait, bring on the snow!

Possibly a quick long weekend out to Brundage/Tamarack on Indy Pass. It'll be a busy winter and last years Arlberg/Arosa trip ate up the budget, but I wouldn't mind sneaking out west if I can.

While I'm hoping this will be my last winter on the east coast and in the corporate jungle, nothing is 100% certain. But for me it will be one more year of an early visit to Colorado. Then the holidays back here in NJ and as many Camelback days as nature and the weather will allow till late January. At that point the wife frees up from her year end job duties and we start throwing in a few weekends up in Vermont and New Hampshire on our Ikons and keep the train rolling locally here in the Pocono's as much as possible through February. March as always becoming very busy with a trip to Loon NH and then the annual trip out in Colorado and Utah the last 2 weeks of the month. There will be skiing in April, but where and when will remain unknown till the time is upon us.

I'm not taking any big trips this winter

The good news though is I have 5 weeks and growing of pto and am off Mon,Tues, Wed every week and it all rolls over. Thursdays are a half day at 6 hours, Fridays are a full at 12 hours so from Mid Jan till mid march I'll be taking all Thursdays off and if its good Friday as well. I'll work the weekends. I've got a ragged pass that gets me Jay Days and need to grab something else to geographically spread out soon. If the skiing sucks I'll work and accumulate.

La Parva got more going on than Valle Navado. Better lodging and dining options, more trails and less crowds. There’s more options off of each lift. and if you really want to hit up valle navado you can easily ski there and to el colorado from where they all meet at the top.

Bro stop following me around every year 🤣

Banfflestoke Feb 15 - Mar 1

Specifically staying in Banff 2/15 - 21, and revelstoke feb 22-28.

KH a la carte either the travel day or my last day when heading back to Calgary

Have done this trip once before but not in a great snow year. Eager to ski rev in pow

I booked this in like June or July and the pretty damn nice hotel in banff came out to just $850 Canadian. I ran a search for the same property just now and it’s $1400.

Cheap motel lined up for rev. Turo is also ordered already.

I hope to spend the time between Xmas and new years at loaf/saddleback but nature tends to throw me curves that week

We are doing it in the opposite order. . in Revelstoke 2/13-2/18 then banff 18/-21.

I’m thinking about skipping KH, but we’ll see how the snow conditions are. KH feels like it could warrant 4-5 days hiking the ridgelines not just a day. Plus I’d have to out of pocket 4 lift tix. We will see. If it was just me and my oldest I would have booked a couple of days here. Right now we might hit it on the 18th passing through. it might be a bit much for my wife and youngest TBH.

I’m super psyched about the trip. I’ve only been up there in summer doing mountain biking.

next year it’s the Alps.
