Don't you think the adks might be a better bet?

They don't have the uplift. Plus the starting elevation will be lowe. Also, it is pain to get to. I would say that upper elevations of Whiteface and Jay Peak get the same amount of snow(4-6 inches).

Uh,,,, Plowboy

Hate to mention, but did you notice your plow is NOT on your truck? It's BESIDE your truck.... I suppose you won't be able to sneak a plowing out of this one...maybe next week's event will prove more fruitful! It's covering pretty well now at 1800'.

Put the plow on?? It will stop snowing if I put the plow on!! You know, if your ready it won't happen. I think I might locate the candles though, the wind is picking up.

Sneak a plow in ? Those second home owners wouldn't know. Just kidding. Last year at this time I did have to plow, but it was a freebee.

I count 4.5" as of 9:30 p.m. I'm off to bed so I can be up early tomorrow and earning some turns.

kbroderick, don't mean to get too personal here, but where abouts in vermont is that ruler located?

The base of Bolton valley ski area. I have a feeling that you will be skiing almost a foot of snow(in the drifts of course) at the top of Jay tomorrow. Well unless I jinxed you by saying that.
