does not look like skylight short fuse lower hardscrable turnpikes bypass and paulies and others won't get any snowmaking this year
Fine with me if correct, all 6 of those have skied awesome for almost a month now so until the temp rises above freezing, snowmaking guns running are just terrain to avoid in my opinion. I’m not really worried about any of those for the last weeks of the season either.

Year but it would be nice to ski them the last 2 weeks of the season when the front is mashed potatos and they are skiing great right now but will not last Just my favorite route to bomb to the bottom, light ski traffic.

Quick plug: Myself and a few operators will talk a little about the mountain and answer your questions over the next month. Saturdays at 12, Tuesdays at 11, Fridays at 1, Peabody Deck. Starting tomorrow, we'll do it live.

This is about the awesome, inspiring people behind the scenes who make it happen for us all. Feel free to stop by!

So I was at Cannon today, first time this season in fact, and I was a little surprised by the huge snowmaking whales all over the lower mountain. Curious what the plan is there.

Our goal in November, as long as I'm here, will be top to bottom skiing as early as possible. This year, temps stayed marginal down low the entire month and we didn't see a customary inversion. We focused production up top, following temps.

Rock Garden, Lower Cannon and Gremlin specifically had less snow than usual. High traffic routes; get scraped off quick; subject to major loss during warm ups. About a week ago our awesome park cat operator started his Tossup Park project, so we greenlit scraping from Lower Cannon (skier's left) to Tossup side (skier's right). A few events coming up on these trails, too.

We knew we'd need to fatten them up at some point, to make it through the season.

no question, just I appreciate the multiple updates on the ski report each day, please thank the snow reporter for me. That (and the webcam) really is helpful for condition info.
