Still find those f-ers laying around the ground... Best things they ever did was make them not detachable...

I used to think Molson and Moosehead were the best you could do.

I often wonder what my taste buds would be like today if I didn't contaminate them with so much crappy beer 15 years ago ;) :puke:

Ha, I remember that stuff. I think they stopped selling it just before I turned 21. There was that whole generic food craze in the 80's.

First time I saw/drank it was when one of my college roommates came back from winter break and he had a case of it with him. While it tasted awfull, it was great to walk around with at a party. When someone would ask you what you were drinking all you had to do was show them the can! ;)

cant find an actual ad but this has to be the best slogan ever.

Schaefer, the one beer to have when you're having more than one.

The guys who own Pabst also own Schaefer and Schlitz. They brought Pabst back from the dead, but when I asked them about the other two, they said "Yeah, those didn't work out as well." Interestingly, Pabst doesn't brew any beer at all. It's all contracted through Miller.

Schlitz is starting to get a bump via the NASCAR crowd, especially fans of Tony Stewart, whose a big Schlitz fan. He actually had a GREAT Schlitz quote after he won the Brickyard 400 race last summer. When asked by a reporter what he was going to do later that night to celebrate his victory, his quote was " I'm going to grab a 30 pack of Schlitz and keep drinking until I either get to the bottom or pass out!"

Kind of hard to live in Golden and not get hooked on Coors-I've taken the tour seven times since november.

It's kind of nice to take a break from $$$$ and heavy micro-brews. I'm currently drinking Keystone light, it's not too bad.

How long has this fruit favored beer when on the market? I have been noticing it lately ... Michelob ULTRA Lime Cactus ..What the hell is that?

A few years, actually. they started with that crazy tequila flavored one. Its supposed to compete with Corona. I guess they figure if you need a lime to make Mexican Piss-Water palatable, why not put the lime flavor right into their American Piss-Water so fat, lazy Americans don't have to go through the trouble of cutting-up limes and stuff...
