Weather: snow, cool
Conditions: frozen Gran. Ice

Well I heard sat was the day to ski so it was just my luck that I went on Sunday. Now all season I had been saying that I wont ski killington because of the new owners and I didn’t want to give them my money. Well I had free tickets from work so what better way to stick it to the man that ski for free right ? ok all killington bashing aside. Sunday was an weird day, pond skimming at the bottom, snowing at a good clip at the top with the sun coming out once and a while.

Runs:

Galde to East fall first run glade was good east fall was the worts trail of the day, no a spec of loose snow on the trail, completely frozen up. Took cascade next for a few runs, had decent coverage, went over to snowdon, took a few runs off the quad chair, including bunny buster, mouse trap, and I think conclusion, might have been high line all frozen up pretty good. Could not believe the lack of moguls even on superstar only bumps we found were on escape, in which they were really frozen up, and the bottom part of the trail was closed. Took a few more runs down cascade, then one run down superstar, (no bumps) them some major pool and hot tub time !!!

The vibe there was weird everyone on the gondi had something negative to say about the new owners, and the one time we rode up alone their was an anti powder company sticker on the inside window. Anyways they will have plenty of snow for their final weekend and if the sun and warm weather comes back things should get nice and soft again. not the worst day out this season, but far from the best

man, amazing how much of a difference 24 hrs make. I can't believe east fall was the worst run of the day on sunday, on saturday it was all loose snow and awesome from my first run all the way until the end of the day. I hear you about the negative/anti-POWDR vibe (i have experienced it almost all year long), but on Saturday all I saw was smiles and positive vibes. must have been the sun...
