Wow, howza about that commerical TP in restrooms? anyone notice that the squares are smaller, thinner and narrower? And half the time you have to serate a piece to get it started by sticking your hand into the holder up to yer elbow? Sometimes it feels like waxpaper.
Agreed on the paper quality determining minimum square amount. A safe bet to avoid the dreaded rip thru is 4 squares folded over. ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's like gawking at a car accident, one just can't help it.

True dat.

It's like late last week when I spent nearly 2.5 hours covering the 10 miles from the intersection of I-678 and I-95 and the GWB. I swore to myself that when I passed whatever was holding us up, I wouldn't look, but I couldn't help crawling past the scene to check out the overturned tractor trailer at the division between the upper and lower decks of the George Washington Bridge.

What a bad intersection.

Though, with the increase in food prices, the quality of choices goes down, which may lead to an increased need for more sheets.

Or......Higher food prices leads to less eating leads to less need for TP.....So, when the need comes up, I still don't think you need to skimp since you've already saved on the front end (unless costs really get insane).

You should see the stuff they use in Poland. Even for home use, I've seen brown paper bags that were softer. Next time we go visit my in-laws, I'm bringing some Quilted Northern. Nothing like sandpaper and heavy doses of cabbage to make you walk funny.

I'm aware. Having spent most of my childhood overseas, german product was frightening. Grey, rough, and I swear I saw splinters in it. I warned a school buddy of mine to bring his own TP when he travelled to France and other parts of Europe. He thought I was nuts. I told him about the old school french toilets where you stand or crouch over a porcelain hole in the floor. He thought I was kidding. When he got back, he was pretty humble on the phone, recalling his restroom trauma.

But - maybe I just need a break from you guys for a while...

We all need breaks from here once in a while. We'll welcome you back with open arms. How about you peek into the grateful thread once in a while? It is concert season, ya know.
