Cute looking pooch! Now if you follow the standard way of couple's progression, 1st comes the dog then in about 2 - 4 years comes the kid![]()

Yup! Had black hair all over my slacks after the first day. She's not too bad but I am sure the hair will get worse. Flat coats have a single coat and don't blow out so at least we needn't worry about that.Congrats, he's a handsome pooch. PS: keep your vaccuum tuned up,![]()
Yea they are! Most people have never heard of them. The breeder had three fully grown flats including the bitch. They are incredibly fun and friendly.I've always enjoyed flat coat retrievers; I think they're a great breed
Sorry to hear about your cat passing recently. The name wasn't really our choice. Well, we choose from several the breeder had picked. The breeder has a Shakespearian theme for her kennel. The dog's actual call name is Ariel and her full name is Strattford's Mountain Wind. I liked the kennel name a lot. I think it is a Tempest reference if I remember correctly. Ari for short works well enough for us.Nice.....our awesome cat Ari passed away recently. Good name!
Don't know if you noticed my mention that I have been thru your bustling little burg 3 times in the last couple of weeks. Looks like an awesome area to be living.
The carpet isn't new but is still decent. We are keeping the dog from biting at the carpeting but I am sure it will show a lot of wear as the puppy ages. Last night we found out why the puppy is so cute. Kennel training went really well until we got into bed and turned out the lights. I was expecting a difficult few nights as the pup got used to his new home away from the litter mates and mom. After an hour of whining and moaning, we decided that we had to adjust slightly just so the pup wouldn't hurt himself and slept near the crate with the light on. Going to be interesting when we head back to work and the pup has to be left alone for four hours crated up. :-? We are working on a few different ideas to get the pup used to us not being around for short periods of time but it sure isn't going to be easy on any of us.I see a nice carpet there... that's going away. Dog sometimes put things in their mouth that don't belong.
Our first dog, was scare of the crate and the dark, he was whining all night and kept us up. My wife finally let him sleep in the bed with us and its been downhill (in terms of the furniture) ever since.

Thanks for the congrats. Ari is actually a she but it is all the same either way since we'll be fixing her when the time is right.

The greater Plymouth area is definitely an amazing place to live. So much to do and all right down the road. Hiking, kayaking, biking, golfing, etc. whatever. Plus skiing of courseAnd the area is rather dog friendly.
