Still wondering why we don't see a clutch and sequential transmission arrangement on any super cars. Too complex to maintain? Certainly they can pull it off on motorcycles.

No, not at all. Sequential transmissions can handle lots and lots of torque... they're used in all the GT class cars in the 24 Hours of Lemans and the ALMS, also used in World Rally Cup cars among several other classes of race cars.
I honestly don't know why. I'd sure like to know.
Right after I guessed I looked it up---handles LOADS of tourque---gotta be the $$$$$
