Here are some pic's of my sunflowers.I planted about 24.Half are out by road znd are 6 to 8 feet tall other half are 12 to 14.Here are some pic's of the tall ones...Both were fed same food ,tall ones were watered in frequently..reference fence is 6' ...wife is 5'9"

I did see the echinacea. What else do you have in your butterfly garden? Monarda is great for attracting hummingbirds, too, BUT it's kind of invasive.

cat mint,salvia,butterfly bushes,grey feather,daisys,black eyed susans,coriopsis,bee balmcouple rose bushes,and a bunch of other stuff i am not sure of.

i would love to plant some of those behind the waterfall on my coi pond. where do you get the seeds and how long do they take to grow?


Seeds were just standard sunflowers"6 to 8 foot tall.I have 24 12 are out by road and are normal size other 12 are giants..Takes about 2 to 3 weeks to germinate and 3 months to reach maturity

So you have your bases well covered. :D (Monarda=bee balm, if you didn't know, BTW.)

I used to work for White Flower Farm, Inc. for about 5 years so I had to know these things. It's been nearly 7 years since I worked there, but it's stayed with me.
