Funny how quickly night time falls soon after Labor Day. No more outdoor activities for the most part after 7:30. In only three months before 4:30!

I can see for some people how this can be depressing, but for us, fall and winter skiing is right around the corner!

Kinda sucks for after work mountain biking, but alas, it means a change is coming.

Yup, the earlier setting time stinks, but so does the later rise time. I atleast used to have some sunlight outside when the alarm went off in the AM - thus actually giving me a fighting chance of NOT hitting the snooze alarm, but now in the dark at 5:45AM, that snooze alarm is just about winning out these days

Scattered weather through out the region..
Periods of light followed by darkness will prevail.

Definitely putting a damper on my walking/running routine. I don't like going around town by myself in the dark...there are some definite loonies who live here! But last night I sucked it up and went in the dark anyway. 7:20PM and it was already lacking light severely. 6:30AM until it looks like the sun is rising... I know it's a sign of winter coming, but I could use a little more daylight right now.

So did mine... I opened my eyes and saw WAY too much light... looked at the clock and had one of those 'oh, chit' moments... the clock read :35 past when I'm supposed to be at work..

I remember hitting the snooze button once when the alarm went off, but I must have hit the wrong button and shut the alarm off.

I'm psyched for the winter to be on it's way, but I could do with a bit more sunlight in the evening...

It's awesome..I sometimes wish we had complete darkness mid winter like in areas of Alaska..Blue mountain would be fine since all the trails are lit for night-skiing..it's rediculous when it stays light until
9PM...In Montana it's light until 10:00PM in the middle of the summer and when I was in Amsterdam a couple Junes ago..It was light until past 11PM..

Bring on winter..this summer has been endless.

i do that maybe once or twice a year. it happens after we end up having 3days to d 3 weeks worth of work because the GC was so behind. or i do three weeks of nonstop events. when i get that tired i sleep with the phone under the bed so when it goes off at least i can tell the person who i was going to meet. most people that work in the biz understand.

It's dark now and in a few minutes I'm going into work to help with deliveries..I really need to appreciate the office days where I basically work from 8-3 more...delivery days are more like 7-????.
