Just saw it on their website and the radio.

I am quite tempted. But as bad as it is regularly, I can only start to imagine how big of a madhouse it will be with this deal.

I just wish some pocono resorts had such a deal.

Ummm, No!
Mid week nights are less than fun, Lots-O-School Kids!
Yellow Buses every where!
Every where, I tell You!

hmm lets see i had 60+ days there a season. the kids are gone by 7 and south is a ghost town. there are still no lines and its only one night a week and this season all racing is going to be over at HV.

So might it actually be a decent deal?

How are the trails there vs blue?

I want a blue pass, but 600 is too much in my book. I go to blue on Sunday evenings for 20 bucks, this year seems to be 25.

for me its a very conveinient. i have a house on culvers lake so i can crash there if i want. you just need to know how to work the place. the weekends are a shitshow and wensday can get a little silly with the high school racers trying to get to zero g at north. the terrain stuff at south does not get in the way of crussing there. you have to avoid south when the have parties but thats on friday nights.

as far as blue is concerned i really cant tell you because i havent been there. i am going to make a trip to meet up with GSS.

if the question is: is the 199 pass a good deal? i say yes i had a fun season last year. there really was never a night or day that i was unhappy but i cant stress this enough. you cant do weekend days. i only did one last year and that was because i was on a date.

yeah, don't get me worng, mc can be a great place to ski if you learn to work it. I have many fond memories of skiing with my dad and brother there as kids. I'd rather pay the extra $ for a sp at blue

sure but i have other reasons for doing so. i have all the paople from my lake that get a pass and i have a house inthe area. the drive from my lake house to blue would be the same as the place in westfield. i wish they still had comps at MC where you could win a pass. in high school i never paid for a pass because i would win all the comps.

i just hate people saying its a complete shitshow when they have only been on the weekends. as i have said before you have to know how to work what you have but you are right for the average person MC sucks ass. i really enjoy spending time with the people i know and teaching their kids. being a mentor is great because i know one day they will do the same for someone else. that was one of the things i was taught by the people that first introduced me to the sport.

Agreed. Mountain Creek gets a bad wrap for the weekend crowds. During the week, Mountain Creek is a blast! The place is literally empty, the grooming is decent and the snow isn't scraped until at least 5pm. This is addressed to all the complainers: Visiting a resort less than 1 hour from NYC during a weekend... What do you expect? Shangra La?

Hey guys, they ever have any bump runs set up at MC? Haven't been in 10 years or more, don't recall any back then...

If, by chance, they do, are they lighted for night skiing? thx for any info.

night skiing yes, bumps no clue

Right, I know they have night skiing.

I was just wondering, if by chance they do have a trail or trails with bumps, do they light it at night? I remember there were a number of tails that did not have lights when I was last there (10 or so yrs ago).

every trail is lit now. there some times bumps that develope on devils bit and pipeline but they are very irregular. they also dont really happen till spring when it get softer. it might be worth while to get in touch with customer service. there really hasn't been a contingent of bumpers as of late at the mountain but if they get enough requests it might happen.
