Hey All,
I'm back from another fun session at Blue mountain the true mountain. I arrived at the lower lot at 740AM and a few minutes later Skier112 and Toast pulled in. M-Bike Mike/Gorgonzola.. and Mrs. Snowbunski were also in the house for opening bell. Temperatures were in the mid 20s and the snowguns were shutoff. I first skied Razors which had fresh manmade..very nice..unfortunately 5 minutes later it was closed for the race team. I then skied Lazy Mile which was really nice soft cord followed by Paradise which was similar and forunately no redcoats. A few runs later me and Toast met up with Justo, -Dan, BMTroublemaker, Ty, and a few other jibhonks.
I skied my first run of the season on Switchback and it was sa weet..the middle section where it opens up is so nice. I actually overshot one of the jumps in the lower park..I mo-fo cased that mini-Booter. I then skied Lazy Mile with the Jibsters and then it was time to hit Sidewinder. I'm laying off the big booters in the Sidewinder park until after I return from Jackson Hole so I was in gaper/spotter/spectator mode. -Dan got the biggest air out of anybody..it's cool how he raises the tip/nose of his snowboard in the air to get a few extra feet of air..Mad Steezy Yo. Justo was doing lots of 360s. Another run down Paradise and there was a ski patroller whistling at everybody in the middle of the run but fortunately no chase.
Crowds were lighter than yesterday but there was still a full corral for the 6-pack by 10;30AM...I skied about 5 runs in total in the Sidwinder park and me and Toast peaced out at around 1040AM....a totally legit session..it was sunny, the snow was nice, and we were rolling two 6-packs deep....I'll be back tomorrow morning for dawn patrol..maybe I'll see some PASRs and AZers..
