Wildcat 1/18 - Powder!

POWDER DAY! Foot plus and still pounding at 2PM; got 6th chair @8:30; everything was great with 5-6" to start day; skied whole mountain; Tomcat Schuss was awesome! Hit it several times before first break; blowing over knees! Wildcat top-to-bottom for last run; Upper Wildcat filled in nicely as it had been a bit thin on the top sections; ROD: Wildcat Pitch (last run; all filled in on skier's left blowing up to knees – terrific!) A Top 5 day at the 'cat!

Nice! I almost skied the Cat Sunday but hit Attritash instead. I was missing Wildcat's H.S. Quad. That triple which services Attitash's summit is soooo sloooow.
Glad to see you got a top 5 day there.

And today was killah! No wind, PP and chowder; plenty of soft powder bumps all around! I saw your trip report on Attitash, NHPH. I'm sure it was great with the heavy snow. And you didn't miss anything on the ride to and fro on Rt 16.

I was there today too. It was indeed something. A 30-degree Jan day at Wildcat is a rarity, and that much snow made it epic.

I was at Attitash on Sunday as well, but I don't think you could have gone wrong anywhere on Sunday. It was my first day out this season and it's going to be tough to beat.
