]Date(s) Skied: Saturday, April 25, 2009

Resort or Ski Area: Sugarbush--Lincoln Peak

Conditions: SC

Weather: Sun, blue skies, temps soaring to the 80's at the base, 60's or 70's at the top.

Trip Report: Other folks have spoken as to the conditions, they were great, albeit a bit too warm. I skied all the open runs including Murphy's and Birdland. A good day.

Hate to do it considering Sunday was not as nice, but I figured I would start the thread to show you some of my pics:

First run down Snowball:

Lower Snowball. To give you a sense as to how much snow we lost, where the skier is in the distance was reduced to one groomer width (which had to be built up for Sunday):

Sandy was making videos and taking pictures of folks on Ripcord. He was wearing a heavy coat for some reason  He did catch me on one of his vids, but I don't know if and when he will post it.

Remind me-what breed are they (or maybe it is one...but I thought you had two)?

2 Weimaraners. I'm selling them, buy one get the 2nd half off. ;-) In all serious I love the hell out of those dogs. But with your active lifestyle you should be able to exercise them enough to chill them out. Most people who get a weim and give them up don't realize how much exercise they need.

YES! That's the breed.

Well, active lifestyle now....but when the Dr. and I are married and will be working long days I'm not sure if we'd have enough time for them.

I just think they look so frickin' cool:

If I had enough coin and patience, I'd get a Bernese Mountain Dog or a St. Bernard because they are great mountain dogs, but I just can't afford one (and they are messy).

Ahh those blue eyes... much like the skis at Sugarbush in your pics.

Sorry for the hijack.

There seem to be a lot of people wearing jackets in those photos. What's up with that? I can barely keep it on when it's 60, never mind 80.

On Sunday morning when I thought it was going to warm up more, I was debating skiing with no jacket...But then I realized that with my exercise pants and base-layer top, I had nowhere to put my lift ticket, and also lacked zippered pockets which I really wanted for my money and phone. So I through on a windbreaker I brought. Probably would've been stuck doing the same thing even if it were 80. Given the weather Sunday, it was appropriate amount of clothes.
