howdy everyone
i would appreciate any guidance about buying new boots i have about 800 miles on a pair of Asolo's.....my biggest concern is i need the best ankle support i can find as my right ankle rolls out often especially on loose rock.......

I have the Asolo 520's and love them.

Ultimately though when it comes to boots, the best thing to do is to spend an afternoon at a good shop and have an open mind. A good bootfitter, if he/she knows your budget and use(s), can deliver.

Leather Cresta hikers from Bean. Out of the box comfort. Great support, totally waterproof, year 'round use.
+1. Thats what I wore before I switched to trail runners full time. Limmers are great boots, but they are super heavy. Don't underestimate how much the weight of your footwear has an effect on your hiking.
