The Valley's got some of the best New England has to offer. Skiing is just around the corner, methinks. There was a wee bit of snow up on summit yesterday, but it didn't survive to today. But it shall snow again, and with a vengeance, quite soon.

That's our view!

This is taken just about from where our ski house is. When it starts to snow at night and the snow making light on the mid-station snow making building becomes un-visible. We figure it is snowing at least an inch/hour. Get the whole house pumped for a powder day. It can often be not snowing or r in the valley. We have one or two openings left in our ski house with this view. Let me know if your interested in a share.

And while y'all are watchin the snow fall, I'll be up there trying to see through the blizzard to make corduroy that will inevitably become a blanket of powder anyway. Those are some of the best nights, knowing first hand exactly what I'll be skiing in the morning!

If you ever see bright xeon lights flashing toward your ski house, that's just me waving

Great shot!

Forgive my ignorance: Is that one with the ski trails in the middle MRG? Is Mount Ellen on the left?

Lincoln Peak to lookers' left, Mt. Ellen in the middle, MRG to lookers' right. You can't really make out any trails on the MRG side. Catamount Bowl is obscured in the clouds, and everything else from this angle is too narrow and gladed to be seen in the pic.

My pleasure, Trekchick!

Here's another I took Friday AM (the famous, overdone Bragg barn angle):
