Not a quote, but when people do the pretend ski motion and they "pole plant" both poles to one side and then other. That always gets a "wtf kind of skiing are you doing?" look from me.

There used to be an instructor at Sundown who would ask that just about every time he loaded one of the Sunnyside lifts. He was mostly trying to be funny for the kids he was teaching though, so I didn't mind.. too much.

Lots of those are perfectly good questions. How many threads do we have about, "Do they have snow?" "Who still has snow in May?" Lots of lifts don't go to the top. And do you hit trees when you ski in the woods? How big?

All lifts go to the top.. of the lift. Okay there's a few freak lifts that go across something instead of up, but you know what I mean..
