01/03/2010 to 02/25/2010

NASTAR (NAtional STAndard Race) is the largest recreational ski and snowboard race program in the world. Through the development of a handicap system, racers of all ages and abilities can compare themselves withone another regardless of when and where they race. All you have to do is register online at nastar.com

The race course on Gunbarrel will be open Sunday afternoons from 3-7pm and Thursday nights from 6-9pm in January and February. You must have a lift ticket or pass to race and the fee to race is as follows: 1 run = $5; 2 runs = $8; or $12 for unlimited runs.

I'm working the NASTAR course Sunday afternoon. I'll shave a second off your time for each beer you bring me. ;) Seriously, come check it out. Pre-register to make the process smoother:

http://www.nastar.com/index.jsp?pagename=register

Provide your NASTAR ID when you purchase your NASTAR pass at the welcome center. Hope to head out for some soft bumps afterwards.

You should get a team together. Then we can have a CT vs MA AZ race-off.
