Just read that Sunday River will reopen on Thursday for $25 lift tickets for all and FREE skiing for vets, active service members, and their families. Read more about it HERE. :flag: A very nice gesture and confirmation that Sunday River is going to pull out the stops to keep the season going! :spread::daffy::beer::snow::fangun::fangun::idea:

Hmmm... that is a maybe.

Nice gesture for the vets and free skiing. Plus their families, wow. Sunday River is redefining how to define yourself as a premier resort. Nice show.

Very nice gesture, indeed.

Opening won't be a problem - plenty of snow on T2.

Mid station is what they have posted. Not sure if you will be able to ski out of not. I doubt I will down load. Ski out or walk down is my plan. hoping two nights of snow making will bring easy T2B on line again. Not sure if they even will make snow, say nothing about to the base.

Are you able to zoom on that cam 'cause from what I saw today, there seemed to be the same amount of white as in days past. I'm not saying they didn't lose a ton of snow as I'm sure they did, but the cam didn't show 'little if any' snow below midstation.

Jerry I didn't relize you could zoom that cam. If you have a link for the zoom feature, please share! It was looking white below midstation before the storm/clouds/fog, but now looks brown to me.

Just checked the Sunday River cam and you can see some white. I usually zoom that cam back to be able to see the Barker Trails. Must of been shadows. Forcast calling for a low of 17, hopefully they will blow some more snow tonight before the weekend.

Oh no, I don't have a clue how to zoom anything. The cam shot just looks different to me, but that doesn't mean I'm right.

Nice day today at the River. Bet with the sun and lost. Skied from about 10:30a-1:00p or so. T2 was pretty firm. Skiers right side had some loose snow and irregular soft bumps to play in. T2 was it but snow on Punch went down to the Right Stuff cross over. Got within about a football field of the lodge with only two very small ski portages. Pretty firm even below the mid-station. Lots of college kids hitting the park. Glad I got today in because this weekend is going to be a zoo, I'm heading into Boston Saturday instead. :D I always gotta laugh when I reverse flow the weekend traffic on I-93.

I agree with you, looks white today, now that the sun is shining on it! After the clouds and fog lifted, but still overcast, it looked brown below the midstation. Perhaps it was an older cam shot, or I should go for a color blind test!
