I have a RIF card from Jay from last year. Do you have to get a new one every year? Is that true for all ski areas that are using the RIF cards?

I typed in my number online and it doesn't recognize it. When I go I will bring it and they better not try to charge me $5. I know it is only 5 but that isn't the point.

It should be a one time purchase, but it wouldn't surprise me if they try to bilk $5 out of you every year. I like the RF idea, I just lost my season pass from my home hill, they nailed me $25 to replace it. An RF ticket would have been safely in my pocket. I like being able to reup online too, it'd be nice to head right to the chair when you get there. I used the system at Jay last Spring, it was a little balky, but the snow level was lower than mid season, I'm sure. Keep us updated.

It is a hard plastic one - used it twice last year

Did you pay for it?

We were up last season and did not pay for the ticket/card. It was included and I believe was our room key. An additional day was added electronically. We tossed the card into a bin and took off at the end of the day.
