I ski because I love it. I may not be very good at it, and most of you guys can blow by me down the mountain, but it is truly a great feeling to be outside. While this year with the minor medical mishap set me back a little, I plan to be back to it next season! More trim and more fit! One more month of wearing a heart monitor. I will say this season though was pretty cool, especially hitting Magic for the first time ever, and pushing myself a little more than usual!

Oh yeah also happy bday warp!!

No need to worry about how good you are or are not! On any given day at any ski area you are better than many. The fact that you are out there having fun and trying to ski better than you did the day before is key! Each day is a new experience and you take different turns (like a finger print)! I have fun and push myself when I feel like it other days are chill and all I really want to do is cruise with a little pace! That is why I like skiing!

On an aging note - yes as you get older it is a mental thing - however - I can attest to one thing related to skiing, what seemed like a good idea when I was in my early twenties may not seem like such a good idea today! I leave the hucking off drops (small cliffs) to my teenagers now!
