I was looking at trail maps to see trails that have been mentioned here and in each case for the most part they are run outs or cross over trails. I decided to look at trail maps and look at each resort we have been to in New England (34) and technically I could name at least one or two and once again they are run outs or cross overs.

You have to love those mountains that have green cross overs on a part of the mountain that is primarily advanced skiing. Very often beginner skiers will ski without looking up the crossing trail causing dangerous situations.

Another type of trail that sucks is the trail that provides access to a summit that is used by 80% of the skiers (easy way down) which leads to the temptation for some to ski on trails that are above their abilities. Nice thing about these trails is - it is not a required trail to ski to get some where so it can be avoided.

I despise Juggernaut at K. I was so f'in bored on that f'in trail that I took a detour into the woods & got so f'ed up I honestly had to ask God to deliver me from a bad spot. I have not forgot my promise & I try to say my prayers each night...

I like it. When theres snow on all of the trees and the snow's packed down, it's a nice glide.

To say my least favorite trail I think I need to clarify what "type" of trail is my least favorite lol.

I dont like crossover trails in general, they take a toll on my body, usually they are flat and crowded and I try and avoid them but its pretty much hard to if you really want to see the mountain your at. All resorts have these types to some degree.
Jay Peak has the taxi lol...I dont like that trail lol

It is narrow! When there is no one in front of you - no biggie - but once you get behind a snowplower or two, you are screwed! I prefer to head back up Bonnie and head down Upper Goats Run (which also has that nasty icy turn right under Flyer)

Lol its true lol..The part I really get nervous on is the hill at the beginning. Theres an awe full lot of pizza going back and forth on that part lol. Im sure some of you have witnessed the train wrecks on that part if you been there enough lol

But actually they now have that new lift at the bonnie base, it takes you up to the queens highway area just below the taxi.

Big Link and Easy Link at Cannon. Should be labled a black after the first hour each day. Makes it really tough to lap Upper Cannon, Tramway and Vistaway off of the Cannonball Quad. The prime example of an icy overused connector.

I think the little traverse_trail on Barker Mtn @SR is Jungle Road(?). Much easier to carve and scarve off speed now that I've added that ~1/3" shim onto my left boot/leg length and am in control of hips:lol:, but later in the afternoon...nothing like a narrow, icy traverse with multiple skiers.. Puts a smile on the face just thinking about it and how I used to view it...
