    Andermatt Switzerland

I was asked last summer about going skiing in Andermatt. I knew nothing about it except it was on the Epic pass. Never skied in Europe before. Wasn't even involved in the planning although my wife was which means all Epic pass savings would be lost. Flew non stop Boston to Zurich on Swiss Air...

    Wildcat and Attitash

I've probably skied Attitash only 5 times in the last 20 years. Always thought it was kind of second rate. Skied Tues all upper lifts closed because of wind. 3 trails off Flying Yankee. Good spring conditions but crowded and boring after a while. The Progression Quad is so slow its useless...

    The Saddleback Thread

Skied Thurs, Fri and Sat. Even on Thurs before it snowed I could tell the natural snow pack was much more than my previous Thurs at Stowe. Probably snowed 6-7 inches Thurs night. Glades were great did the first 5 runs on Casablanca. Great coverage. Good enough to ski full tilt in the woods...

    Stowe Thread

Staying at a condo on the access road. Currently raining here. About an inch of heavy slush has accumulated on the ground. Not good today but certainly not a wash out going forward. Can't see them losing any terrain.

Great day till the end. One of the best of the year. I thought Perry Merrill and Nose Dive were the best. I skied 10am till 3pm. Will ski friday if we get lucky on the weather.

    Mt Snow 21-22 Season

Also skied Weds. Great conditions especially on the non groomed. Found some good bumps and loose powder on the North Face. Good size crowd for a weekday and an impressive blitzkrieg of snow guns everywhere. If your on the fence for Thursday....GO

    11/26/2022 - Mount Sunapee - Frozen Granular/Hard Packed

Skied for a few hours Monday Dec 5th. Same terrain as Bostonian reported. Good base and surface conditons. Big snowmaking mounds on Upper Blastoff and Skyway ledges as they appear to be next to open. Employees outnumbered customers probably 2 to 1 so hopefully the staffing issue is solved.

nice pics you can see Okemo and Killington in the distance. Last year I think it was upper and lower Blastoff to start the season.

    Fernie and FWA cat skiing?

I would love to do two weeks and be able to take a day or two off to recharge. Nelson I assume means you ski Whitewater. That looks like a great off the beaten path place. We wanted a place where we could do one day of cat skiing and 3 days at the resort. Is it true that cell phones don't work...

Thanks for the info. Thats a great road trip you took. These guys would never agree to that much driving. Did you do that solo?
