  1. Powder
  2. Packed Powder
Got over for an awesome afternoon. Highlights were a very good Twilight Zone and Goniff (pics). The firm underneath is edgeable and there is a good amount of fresh snow on top. Upper Trick skied like this too. Hit White Tiger - very skiable but not as good as TZ and Goniff. A few tree areas hit too. Groomers, even the natural groomers, had nice packed powder.

They’ve actually made a lot of snow given the weather. UMC + Through the Woods, Medium, Wand and Snow Off were deep and edge to edge. Middle section of Carpet - below Medium and above Vertigo, was pushed out and edge to edge. Still working on lower carpet/runout but it will open tomorrow and have great coverage. They also have some base on Upper Trick, and Lower Trick was closed as they also had whales that needed to be pushed out. Trick is is not done but doesn’t need much. They also have base down on lower Hocus Pocus and continue to make snow there. Of course the terrain park and learning area are deep.

Ski patrol checking West side for tomorrow and my guess is all but the extreme steeps are open. For sure Talisman will open.

Are Wizard and the west side blacks (Heart of Magician, Talisman) likely to be open on weekend, do you think?
