Well... it's not your typical TR. We're not open at Cooper yet. But I've done these when I was at Sugarbush, so I guess I'll just keep it up now that I'm out in the Rockies.
Started off the morning 7:30 in the BR350. Spent the whole day packing the 13" of fresh snow we got this weekend. We don't make any snow, so rely entirely on natural. And it's shaping up very nicely, as you will no doubt see in the pictures below. It's still a bumpy ride on lower mountain, but there are some really deep spots up there. I jumped out of the cat on the backside to take one of the pictures, and was nearly waist-deep when I stepped off the tracks. But we also had some serious wind Saturday night, so the high spots on the front side are a little scoured. But that's nothing the blade of a snowcat can't fix! We're getting pretty close now... another storm or two and we'll be ready to turn the lifts.
