Okemo
Sorry for the late report, it's been a busy week.
For the second half of my skin and lift riding adventure I used a voucher I picked up.
After skinning Stratton I took my time driving up to Okemo. I had my skis on at about 11:45. My legs were pretty cooked but it wasn't going to stop me. Weather was pretty awful, snow seemed hard as a rock, but I was ready to ski. I started doing laps off the Sunburst and found the skiing surprisingly good. Everything was hard at the top but about 1/3 the way down it was spring corn awesomeness. I've never had a ski day like it before, long johns, extra layers and helmet vents closed but the snow was soft. Late April sun even though it was covered did it's magic. Sel's Choice was awesome, Chief, Sapphire and Jolly Green Giant were all awesome. I ended up doing 13 laps off the Sunburst and called it quits. 20,000 vert on the day and my legs were cooked. My camera on my phone smashed at some point despite being in a case. Photos aren't great.
