The day started out chilly and gray with yesterday's soft snow having frozen overnight. First two hours was spent warming up on icy blues, but almost instantly things softened up and the snow got grabby. Should've brought the Nardoz, darnit. Snow in the trees turned heavy and clumpy, just too risky for the last day. So we headed up high and found the best snow in Empire Bowl and Conviction.
Stein's Way offers a spectacular view of a nearby lake.
Bubbly anyone? Relaxing way to end an excellent trip.
